Refuse financial aid to companies using tax havens.
There are companies operating in the UK who use tax havens to ensure they pay little or no UK tax. Such companies should not get taxpayer funding. Only companies who don't avoid paying UK tax should be eligible for financial aid during the Coronavirus pandemic.
Many companies are affected by the Coronavirus lockdown. Forcibly closed to safeguard lives and the NHS, they are not making the money they normally would. To assist in this unique situation financial aid from the taxpayer is available. However, Denmark, France and Poland are refusing to aid companies who use tax havens. It is wrong to avoid paying tax in the UK then expect a taxpayer bailout. Please sign this petition to tell our government to refuse financial aid to tax avoiders.
