Petition Action

Cancel ALL potential UCAS exams for year 12.

Petition Details

Cancel UCAS exams in the event that schools open. The government needs to be able to understand that students simply cannot do this. There needs to be a prediction device set up by subject teachers, which will provide predictions based on class work, class exams, GCSE results and work ethic currently

Additional Information

The pandemic is causing a lot of stress and mental health issues to worsen, the idea of students resuming back into school, to then carry out exams so abruptly after being self taught, is ludicrous. It will be mentally and emotionally challenging for students to take on these additional pressures. Not only that but the results that are obtained from these exams are detrimental to those that are applying for uni’s across the UK. It’s an unfair bias that year 12 have to resume as normal to school.
