Scrap student finance loan repayments for NHS healthcare workers
The support for the NHS workers during this difficult time has been amazing however, whilst people are being furloughed, NHS staff are still having to go to work as normal and then paying back hundreds of pounds each month in student loan repayments. This includes nurses, doctors, paramedics etc.
Having that extra bit of money each month can really help; it costs a nurse/paramedic/midwife etc approximately £50,000 worth of student debts to become a healthcare professional. To then spend the rest of their career caring for others, whilst still paying as much as hundreds back each month. As a thank you to our frontline NHS workers, scrap student finance loans!
