Petition Action

Compensate the families of Covid-19 emergency workers who have lost their lives.

Petition Details

To give compensation to emergency workers’ families when they die during the Covid-19 emergency, similar to existing compensation for the loss of a firefighter.

Additional Information

There is no difference between a firefighter dying in a blazing building attempting to rescue people, and a nurse who contracts and dies from Covid-19, whilst caring for the seriously sick. The families of the latter deserve the compensation of deceased firefighters.
