Stop escorting immigrants that try to enter the country illegally to UK ports.
UK Border Force has escorted hundreds+ of illegal immigrants to UK ports over the last few months, which only leads to greater expense for UK taxpayers before we might get to deport them later.
Instead perhaps escort them to a port in the country they departed from last.
It seems UK border force are in the news almost on a daily basis, escorting illegal immigrants to our ports so they can be processed and possibly deported. But this is costing the UK taxpayer because these people have to be housed and fed while waiting for the deportation process to complete.
It would make more sense to escort them to a port in the country they last departed from, and let them deal with the problem and expense.
Also it would be a much bigger deterrent to others too.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We understand that you're concerned about illegal immigration, but we're not sure what specific action you'd like the UK Government and Parliament to take.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, you could ask the UK Government to withdraw from all agreements that require the UK to accept immigrants and refugees, if that's what you'd like to happen.
