Provide Teacher led Remote learning for Schoolchildren
Instruct Local Authorities and schools to set up and implement teacher led remote learning classes for school children during the Covid 19 crisis to prevent a detrimental effect on our children's education. Utilise peering applications to provide classroom teaching.
Given that there are specific online tools and applications that can provide this service and specific organisations are opening these applications up free of charge to schools. The majority of parents are ill equipped to continue the home-schooling requirement for extended periods whilst trying to maintain a work environment that ultimately provides financial stability for the home life. Applications such as MS teams provide a direct solution for teachers to continue education children

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The Government is responsible for determining whether schools should be allowed to open or be required to close, and for issuing guidance to schools on operating during the coronavirus outbreak.
However, decisions about teaching arrangements during any period of closure is a matter for individual schools, not the Government or House of Commons. Ofsted is responsible for making sure that organisations providing education, training and care services in England do so to a high standard for children and students.
