Mandate the Government to call a General Election after Coronavirus Pandemic
Pass a one line Bill similar to that used to call the 12 December 2019 election to trigger an immediate election.
This should be done as soon as it is safe to hold an Election either under appropriate social distancing measures or, if necessary, entirely using Postal and Online voting.
The Coronavirus Pandemic has been the greatest national emergency since World War 2. Tens of thousands of British citizens have unfortunately died and many more have endured painful illness.
The country has also been subjected to the most widespread social controls in its history.
A Pandemic was identified as the Number 1 danger to this country for reasons we are now all too aware.
We, the People, urgently need to hold this Government to account and cannot wait until 2024 to do this.
