Force travel agencies to refund customers where holidays have been cancelled.

Petition Details

Ensure travel agencies abide by the law and issue refunds within the required timescale of 14 days.

Additional Information

Currently if you have had your holiday cancelled you are entitiled to receive a full refund within 14 days. What travel agencies are doing is trying to fob you off with vouchers for future use and evading any request for refunds. They are also attempting to influence you to claim on insurance. In most cases especially with currently people just want their refund which is being refused.

Arrangements for refunding, changing or rebooking travel are a civil matter between individual travellers and airlines or travel agents, not the Government or Parliament.
