Award a special 'Corona' Medal and Silver coin to the NHS and Care institutions.
I believe a special Medal and Silver coin should be struck recognising the outstanding services rendered to the British people by the staff working in the NHS and Care institutions.
In the case of the medals being awarded posthumously consideration should be given to the medal being minted in Gold.
The COV-19 pandemic is an extraordinary happening which was sudden and lethal and involved a previously unknown virus. The dedication of the staff of the NHS and Social Care institutions was crucial in dealing with the greatest threat to life in the UK since the War.
