Change of Coronavirus Small Business Grant Qualifying Date
My Local Council are stating I need to be on their rating list on the 11th March 2020 to be able to qualify for the Coronavirus Business Rate Grant. I urge the Government to abolish this date so small businesses who operate from a premises can claim for the Grant. If you agree please sign.
Lots of businesses occupy a premises - I applied for the Rates Grant of £10,000. I've occupied a small office since April 2016 and the New Forest District Council, have informed me I am not eligible to claim for the grant as the property (ie my office) was not on the rating list on the qualifying date of 11th March.
How many other businesses have tried to claim for this Grant and been refused. The council have been given money from the Government to support local small businesses at this time
