Provide subsidies for resources/ tools to support home learning due to COVID-19.
Provide subsidies to support the delivery of core curriculum and learning activities at home/ remote learning environments.
The grant could cover; pens, pencils, reading books (exercise & folders), printing (paper, ink, prints from Twinkl etc..), art (brushes, paints) and basic science kit.
As a direct result of COVID-19 and mass school closures across the country, the 'home' has rapidly become the core learning environment for children and young learners.
Access to digital resourcing is welcomed, yet this needs to be carefully balanced to account for the digital wellbeing of learners.
The costs associated with providing basic resources is accruing and is out of reach for many. This is critical to ensure that educational continuity is provided during this period of uncertainty.
