Give Colonel Tom Moore a Knighthood
Give WW2 veteran Colonel Tom Moore a Knighthood for his efforts in the coronavirus pandemic and showing that no matter how old you are you can be a hero to people
Colonel Tom Moore is a world war 2 veteran and fought for his king and country in the second world war, there is no doubt he is already a hero at his ripe old age but he has proven that there is no upper age limit when it comes to fighting and protecting those that you love and epitomises the meaning of what it is to be British and fight against injustice wherever that threat comes from. He has raised £30m that he has selflessly donated to the NHS in this time of crisis proving he is a true British hero despite his old age and declining health.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We know lots of people want to petition for Colonel Moore to receive an honour, but the Government will only accept individual nominations, not petitions, so we can’t publish your petition.
