Every income in Britain, to contribute £1 per month direct to NHS
To have all individual UK income, whether it be employment, self-employment or benefits; have a dedicated £1 a month directly from that income, contributed in full directly to the NHS
The British population rely on the NHS for their health care, including the current Prime Minister. However, the recent pandemic has forced into focus its importance to the British public and its leading institutions. With the public proclaiming their appreciation and support of the NHS - its services and entire workforce - the government should take steps to ensure for the UK that it becomes securely funded and protected. It should be a secure service, not an underfunded charity.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We're not sure whether you want taxes to increase by £1 and the money given to the NHS or whether you want £1 a month of existing taxes to be dedicated to the NHS.
You could start a new petition clearly explaining what you'd like to happen.
