Make it the law to stop for cats if hit by a vehicle
To make it law for drivers to stop and find the owner or take the cat to the nearest veterinary.
Cats are pets too, loved just as much by their owners as dogs are. Families of deceased cats may not find out about their cats death, and may be distressed or upset or worried for long periods of time until they find out, or they may never find out at all.
Not to mention if the cat is hit at a low speed the cat may not necessarily die, drivers who hit the wounded/injured cat should be required by law to take them to the nearest veterinary
