Pay NHS staff a premium in addition to their normal pay during Covid outbreak.
The government needs to approve a premium payment to NHS staff who are actually working during the current Covid outbreak most of whom are being paid little more than the national minimum wage.
This payment should consider both the national appreciation of the service they are providing and the risks they are exposing themselves to. Furthermore it should reflect their overarching commitment to their patient needs regardless of whether they are fully protected due the lack of appropriate training and equipment.
