Raise 40% income tax rate to earnings over £45,000

Additional Information

As of April 6 2012, any person earning £34,371, will pay 40% income tax. This is a ridiculous amount of tax for average earners, while people earning over £150,000 will have their income tax dropped to 45%.
The treasury should review this immediately and raise the earnings level for paying 40% tax to in excess of £45,000.
