To stop doctors and nurses paying their registration fees every year.
I strongly believe the government should scrap the registration fees nurses have to pay each year to be able to keep working.
After the COVID-19 crisis and the amount of doctors and nurses that were lost during this time, there is no better way than to show our appreciation by scrapping the registration fee all together. Why should they have to pay to risk losing their lives just to stay registered to work.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The level of registrations fees are a matter for independent regulators such as the General Medical Council and Nursing and Midwifery Council, and not the Government or Parliament.
We have published a petition calling on the Government to reimburse health care professionals for professional registration fees, which you might like to sign: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/307399
You could start a new petition calling on the Government to fund health regulators directly, so they do not need to charge a registration fee.
