Demolish the old houses in bransholme following local fires and rehome occupants
Due to a recent fire that was set in a old boarded up house, that was an end terrace, 6 homes were also destroyed due to poor fire protection within the houses and 6 familys lost their homes and possessions, luckily no lives where lost.
The houses on stroud crescent east/west and other houses on the bransholme area are mainly wooden construction which was the result of the fire spreading.
There was talk of the local council demolishing the homes and either rehoming council tenants and paying home owners the market value +10% and an additional moving cost due to poor construction.
As a resident of Stroud cresent west I would like to push for this to happen if the houses are not up to current building regulations.
