This petition requests, in light of current circumstances, the consideration and implementation of the following:

Additional Information

. That the £680 pre-application fee, incurred when applying to declare Bankruptcy, be waived for students, who are such, at any time during the lockdown period.

. That such a subsequent applicant be relieved of any harm to the credit rating of said applicant, as a direct consequence of and in the case of, a successful bankruptcy application.

. That these requests, if implemented, be done so, with the retention of the current application process and criteria, excluding the £680 application fee.

We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. Credit ratings are not a matter for the UK Government or Parliament but for credit rating companies.
