Lower the Grade Boundaries for 2021 GCSEs

Petition Details

I want the Government to lower the Grade Boundaries for the 2021 GCSEs, for the new Year 11 - as a way to compensate for the loss time learning, due to the recent lockdown...

Additional Information

Year 10 students, all across the UK, will have lost over two months of academic content; by the time they return back to school...this will have a detrimental affect on their GCSEs, as they do not have the time to make up for the lost lessons (over 50 hours worth).
By the time they return, they will also have forgotten content and therefore will need to recap - there is not enough time for this, and to compensate for the lost time, we must lower Grade Boundaries to give students a fair chance...
