Instruct the NHS to use Apple & Google’s API for the contact tracing app
Revise the need to have a separate system to one that has already been established. Apple & Google’s code means that data is stored completely on the device, whereas the proposed NHS app sends ambiguous (not anonymous) data to central government servers.
Using the existing framework will help for many reasons:
- High adoption rates of the application.
- Global relevance, e.g. compatible with other apps whilst travelling abroad.
- Eradicate current privacy concerns with the proposed app.
