Fairer grants for the self employed
The government needs to look more closely at the self employment grants scheme there are many people being turned away for various reasons by the new system, after waiting months with no income to be rejected by the HMRC. Is hugely disappointing.
It needs to be discussed, and there need to be a wider awareness of what’s going on for our self employed working class. many have been turned away even though they are self employed And have had no income since or before the lockdown. The current unprecedented situation is for all to see but the promise that was stated by our Chancellor mr Sunak. quote “you will not face this alone” is quite simply not coming true. Because many self employed are facing this alone. And being left to go moths with no income.
