Petition Action

Debate whether Boris Johnson should receive his salary as 'claps' from now on.

Petition Details

If Boris Johnson thinks it is appropriate for NHS workers to be clapped for the work they have been doing during the Covid-19 pandemic rather than getting fair pay, then presumably he wouldn't mind getting paid in claps also.

Additional Information

The only background necessary to understand is the continued refusal of the Conservative government to pay NHS staff in accordance with the context in UK 2020 meaning, living costs, the nature of the work and importantly the additional work they have had to face during the pandemic.
