Recognise the deaths of NHS workers currently fighting COVID19 formally.
Recognise the NHS with a national memorial. Recognise those in the NHS who have died in the fight against COVID19 with a state funeral or state honours.
The NHS is a source of national pride, a shining light in healthcare and an absolutely wonderful institution. With this terrible disease looming over us, its workers have not hesitated to step onto the front lines to do their best for the British public. Sadly, some NHS workers have died during the course of this illness and they should be recognised, celebrated and remembered for the ultimate sacrifice they made in order to serve the public. They should be remembered by the state with honour.
