Close the UK borders and let’s stop importing Covid-19 cases into the UK!
New Zealand, Australia, Austria, Belgium and other countries that have had success eliminating cases of Covid-19 shut their borders to prevent international travel into the countries. They already had cases of Covid-19 and since closing the borders, have since managed to drive DOWN cases.
I personally was due to move to Australia for work, but was prevented from doing so because of the border closures there. I would rather we take ACTION on how we are managing the spread of Coronavirus and containing cases vs. Leaving our borders open and not tackling the imported cases head on. We are not able to test at airports so how can we continue to let travellers in!!
