Permit asylum seekers & their dependents to work after 6 months delay.
Parliament should instruct Home Office to decide on asylum applications within 3 months.
They should also legislate to allow unrestricted permission to work to asylum seekers and their dependents if their asylum applications remain undecided beyond 6 months period.
This shall reduce burden on government and public taxes if asylum applications are processed quicker and permission to work is granted if a quick decision is not made within 3-6 months.
This shall also serve towards better compliance with basic human rights and help the asylum seekers becoming constructive part of society.
Just imagine yourself not being permitted to work for a long period of time. It can have adverse implications on mental and physical health.
