Add another Bank Holiday for VE Day after Lockdown
As we are subject to stay at home orders, our celebrations have not been what we hoped for and although we’ve done our best, it would be great to have another opportunity to celebrate properly.
I want Government and Parliament to do this because it would help restore some positivity into the UK population, enable us to celebrate properly with our loved ones and feel like we are thriving not surviving. What do you have to lose? The economy is already in a bad way and I know a bank holiday costs businesses millions but does that really matter now? What matters are the British people and how they feel.
