Community Carers unable to care because of crippling petrol costs
I am a community carer. On average I travel between 30-100miles a day. On average it cost between £50-£100 a week to fill up my car.
I've calculated that we are actually bringing home less than minimum wage because of paying this extortionate amount for petrol.
This is the price I have to pay for the elderly, disabled, ill people to live in their own home.
Is it fair?
