Ensure viral vaccinations cannot be made mandatory by law.
In light of the current health crisis, due to the viral outbreak. It is a good time to create legislation, or revise the existing 2009 Health Protection (Vaccination) Regulations, in order to ensure that the government may not enforce mandatory vaccinations, relating to any virus, through law.
Mandatory vaccinations would be an ethical infringement on the basic human rights of freedom over our physical body. Mandatory vaccinations would also be an infringement on protected religious beliefs and personal health preferences. Enforced vaccinations would make the dangerous assumption that the government knows what is best for the health of every individual recipient. This legislation would protect the public from the political pressure any government may experience over a viral outbreak.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
It is already against the law for people to be required to undergo medical treatment, including vaccinations. The Coronavirus Act 2020 has not changed this.
