Dont send Reception children back to school in June
Take reception children OUT the equation when integrating children back into primary schools The guidelines today stated that school may reopen the beginning of June to primary years reception, year 1 and year 6... as this all depends on still keeping the measurement regarding social distancing etc
How do reception children social distance as a reception LSA i deal daily with children hurt, sad in need of comfort and cleaning up mess how do we do our jobs if we cannot preform these basic tasks? Early years is based on interaction and play. Reception children don’t always understand the need to use a tissue or wash their hands of cover a cough, how do we drum this into them? Please rethink reception children going back in June for their health, social emotional care and our safety as staff.
