End the Lockdown and concentrate resources on the vulnerable.
All Lockdown provisions should end and available resources directed at protecting the vulnerable. Those not at risk concerned for their safety should be free to continue Lockdown and draw on resources a such as furlough for the time.
The NHS has not been overwhelmed despite lack of staff. The balance of harm is now strongly with the risk of death from non-Covid causes directly linked to the Lockdown, e.g. lack of diagnosis/treatment of diseases such as cancer. The 2008 financial crisis has resulted in a lowering of life-expectancy and this will be worse. Damage from the coming recession in poverty, death and mental illness will disproportionally affect the less well off. Young people are sacrificing their future.
