Give councils power to allocate parking spaces to named disabled residents

Petition Details

I would like for all residential disabled parking spaces made so that only the claimant can use the space and no-one else. This is to prevent people from blocking desperately needed safe access for all disabled people to their own homes. They also need to be made enforceable.

Additional Information

Due to personal experience I have been a victim of this disusting attitude towards disabled badges and am increasingly becoming frustrated that the police, council or government dont seem to care enough to do anything about it. I am tired of being afraid to leave my own home for fear of not being able to park close to my home. It's time things are changed for the better, its supposed to make our lives easier not harder.
