Petition Action

Cover 80% of wages for self employed who have been in employment in the past 3y

Petition Details

Current self employed people, who have been in employment in the past 3 years as well as self employed, are non eligible for SEISS.
The Government has to look into the way of supporting those peoples well.

Additional Information

Those people have the same rights as the current employed people and the people, who have only been self employed in the qualified period.
Those people stopped working and lost their income since the start of the lock down.
Why there is no scheme for help on this group of people yet?
What is their status any different from the other employees and long term/ only self employed? They haven't been unemployed and paid their taxes through those years.
