Petition Action

Vote no confidence for risking people's lives by telling them to return to work.

Petition Details

To debate a vote of no confidence in the UK Prime Minister and the Westminster Government for risking people's lives by telling them to return to work.

Additional Information

The Westminster Government is putting people's lives at risk by telling them to return to work if they cannot work from home. The majority of people affected by this will be manual and service workers.

Meanwhile, the Government is advising people who can work from home to do so (i.e. those with computers, wifi and work phones) and has advised that it will open golf courses and tennis courts.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We can't accept petitions about appointments, which includes calling for Ministers to be sacked or for a vote of no confidence.

If you're concerned about a particular policy or decision that's the responsibility of Government or the House of Commons, you could start a petition about that.
