To ensure that Members of Parliament are silent and respectful during Questions
For the Speaker of the House of Commons to use their power to ensure a respectful space is adhered to during Prime Minister's Questions, by insisting that the amount of jeers and cheers is severely reduced.
It has become apparent over the last few weeks that without cheering and jeering drowning people out, more respectful and productive debates can happen. It would be better for the nation as a whole if this were done as their elected representives could do their jobs in a meaningful manner.
