Provide PLASTIC/GLASS/PAPER/CARDBOARD recycling machines in major areas.
In places such as Amsterdam they have areas where they can take used recyclable waste, post it into a machine and get a receipt with a small amount of money on! This is not only helping keep the streets clean, it's motivation for anyone to take waste to earn a small amount of money!!
I walk around most streets where I live and see glass smashed, bottles in bushes and paper flying everywhere. All I want to do is make this world a better place, not only could they eventually pay for themselves but its also a reward for us to contribute to make our world a better place!

Waste management is a matter for individual local authorities, not the Government or House of Commons.
If you want your local authority to make it easier for people to recycle locally you could contact them to suggest they do so.
