Force STA travel to provide full cash refunds consumers are legally entitled to
STA Travel are denying thousands of customers a cash refund they are issuing credit note refunds and forcing people in to this. This breaks every consumer law, the CAA law and the CMA law.
The government must get involved and assist people to get a cash refund, if that is what they have requested.
STA Travel are deliberately proving people with false information and misrepresentation of the law. It is a national disgrace that this company if blatantly flouting the law and laughing at everyone.
This have been well documented on the TV (Martin Lewis Money Show), national press.
The Civil Aviation Authority have also recently publicised the fact that consumer are entitled to a full cash refund within seven days. The Competitions and Markets Authority have also published that of the same. Why are STA Travel still allowed to get away with this, and provide consumers with false information.
The government must act NOW, this has gone on long enough
