Make face covering mandatory in public enclosed spaces
We need to make covering one's nose and mouth where droplets can be expelled mandatory in public enclosed spaces or where social distancing is not possible in order to reduce the spread of Covid-19. If an individual does not follow this rule, he/she could be advised to leave the premise.
While the latest Government guideline advises people to wear face covering if they can, making this optional will make those who choose to cover their faces less protected. This is because while wearing face masks may not protect the wearer it can prevent others from getting infected by blocking the path in which droplets travel. Many Covid-19 cases are asymptomatic and are unaware that they are spreading the virus in public and may think face covering is unnecessary.
