Petition Action

Scrap year 6 Sats for the 2020/2021 year 6

Petition Details

To put into a law cancelling all year 6 Sats for 2021 or to put into place measures to assist the year 6 and to stop Ofsted inspections on year 6 age group

Additional Information

The current year 5 have or will lose up to 4/5 months of education. Home education packs have been provided but this does not advance a child's education and understanding of the world and subjects. When they go back to school in the future they could be in a situation where they will be catching up on the year 5 curriculum and being taught the year 6 curriculum as well. This is unfair on the teaching staff, children and parents. A precedent has been created this year in regards to tests.
