Petition Action

Increase payment to Frontline Healthcare Covid-19 victims to £500,000 + pension.

Petition Details

I want parliament and the government to support my petition. The proposed payment of £60,000 will be most likely less than the pension rights that will be lost to the NHS Frontline workers who have sadly died. Clapping for these people is fine but we also need to properly support their families.

Additional Information

Since the announcement of £60,000 no one, including the opposition, have questioned how this figure was arrived at and what it is proposed to cover. Pension rights have not been considered actually or potentially.

How does this compare to the billion being thrown elsewhere.

Whilst personal protective equipment may now be available - that certainly was not the case before May 2020 and so many people have been martyred.

Once past this pandemic these people should be remembered annually somehow.
