Stop the extreme fee's and bring care homes into the public sector entirely
There is a large proportion of the population which is elderly and that do or will need care in the future. Currently care homes opperate majoritly in the private sector and charge upwards of £5000 a month for adaquate care. This quickly drains all of that individuals funds that they worked for.
For a adaquate care system in place nationwide to care for the elderly in their homes or within a care facility owned by the public sector. These should be funded entirely by the tax payer who has worked all their lives and deserves their last years care free, not to be ransacked of their savings. Bring in legisation so that current care homes can't make a profit off an individuals care until the transition is complete. Care homes to itemising care costs and justify this to a governing offical.
