Help customers get holiday refunds - by allowing travel companies flexibility.
Amend article 12 of The Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements
Regulations 2018 to offer refunds in more than 14 days and other flexible options. The FCO should provide end date of advice against all non-essential overseas travel as currently leaving travellers and industry in limbo.
Both customers and industry, which supports over 3 million employees and is worth around 10% of GDP deserve better. In this period of fear and anxiety for all of us, such a simple change will encourage an industry led solution hopefully unlocking refunds to those desperately in need and provides opportunities to the industry to resolve this without losing more income, customers, jobs etc.
