Make all Care Homes part of the NHS. Pay Staff a proper wage and abolish Fees.
Take all care homes into state ownership. Stop the scandal of people losing their life savings in a few months to line the pockets of wealthy individuals.
Care for the Elderly should not be a profit making machine for private companies. The staff are poorly paid, and they and their patients are not properly protected. Care Homes have been moaning that they have no PPE. Why did they not have it? They should have already had it to protect against outbreaks of D&V or other infections. No one should have to pay for their care. The NHS should be there from cradle to grave.
