Give back the 1950s ladies their pension & free up jobs for younger generations.
Give the 1950s ladies the dignity of not having to claim benefits, or compete with their children for jobs, by giving them back their pensions, thereby freeing up jobs for younger people.
Now even more than ever these ladies NEED and are entitled to receive their pensions at the age of 60.
The Resolution Foundation, & Institute for Fiscal Studies say there’s been an 80% fall in vacancies during the CV19 crisis so far. The biggest fall is in low paid jobs, affecting the youngest and oldest worst
Expecting to be of pensionable age at 60 but now having to wait an extra 6 yrs, ladies born in the 1950s have been ignored & treated with disdain
It is now a fact that this group of ladies are going to be worse off than many others, losing their jobs and having no hope of any employment
