Petition for a Devolved Yorkshire Assembly
The county of Yorkshire is a large defined geographical area with a strong national and cultural identity. It has population and gdp in excess of territories which have already been granted devolved assemblies. The people of Yorkshire petition the Government to grant a devolved assembly in line with the provision for Wales in recognition of Yorkshire as a territory and legitimate identity
