Self-Employment Income Support Scheme (SEISS) to be extended until October.
I think the government should extend this scheme just like the furlough because thousands of people will still be out of work because of the Coronavirus and can’t return to work due to company policies limiting the amount of workers they can have because of social distancing e.g. construction sites.
I want the government to give the self employed an equal opportunity like the employed workers on the furlough because many of the self employed workers will still remain jobless and will be struggerling financially to pay bills, mortgages, rent and so on. Many of us have had a grant which is brilliant but if hundreds of thousands of us still remain out of work for the next few months which could possibly happen then how are we going to cope financially through this epidemic. I want the government to strongly consider extending this scheme.
