Increse pay for front line nurses for risking their lives during Covid19outbreak
While goverment pay salaries to over 10 milion people to stay at home, front line nurses have to risk their lives. So far recognition in return are words of appreciation and clapping once a week. Nurses salaries were frozen for last 12 years. Many nurses strugle to meet ends need.
Front line nurses and caring professions should be rewarded appropriatelly for the high risk they are taking while looking after Covid19 patients. Goverment should recognise nurses as high risk profession and pay them enhanced rate. Nurses should also receive pay increase after 12 years of pay freeze. Goverment should guarantee that there will be no pay freeze for NHS workers when recession hits and that NHS staff will not be penalised but rewarded appropriatly.
