Make charities exempt for paying the congestion Charge and the ULEZ charge
Would like to see the government bring an end to the congestion charge and the ULEZ charge to London for charities only so they can move about more freely and not have to. Pay out for doing the life-saving work on the streets of London
At the moment in London There are charity groups out feeding homeless also In particular a charity group out feeding at the moment Ex service personnel living on the streets of London. And with paying the congestion charge and the new ULEZ charge this is crippling small charities and is hampering the vital work that is needed to keep feeding the homeless as well as their day-to-day duties of moving people around to and picking up supplies at the cost is due to go up

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept your petition because the issue you raise is not the responsibility of the Government or Parliament. This is the responsibility of the London Assembly. You can petition the London Assembly directly: www.london.gov.uk/about-us/london-assembly/petitions
The Government has agreed a package consisting of a mixture of grants and loans based upon a series of conditions agreed by the mayor, including the reinstatement of the congestion charge: www.gov.uk/government/news/government-grants-transport-for-london-funding-package
You could start a petition calling on the Government to reimburse people, or particular groups of people, for the cost of the congestion charge, if that is what you want to happen. You could also start a petition calling on the Government to seek to revise the terms of its support for Transport for London, so that this is not conditional on the reinstatement of the congestion charge.
