SCRAP 14-days quarantine for UK arrival and do instant tests on airport
Most people arriving in the UK will have to self-isolate for 14 days from June 8 under Government plans.
This will not work now for our failing economy, travel industry, social life and most importantly our holidays and jobs.
We need instant COVID-19 tests in airports
This 14-days quarantine rule will not work and will cripple our travel industry and economy. We can't expect people to go on 2-4 days holidays and then isolate themselves for 2 weeks. There will be no point in going on holidays during long bank holidays.
Employers will not approve any holidays and might offer unpaid holidays. This will seriously affect travel industry specially airlines (almost bankrupted). This will hit hard our mental health too.
Simple - We need instant tests on airport
