Stop remuneration of Government Special Advisors SPADs) from public funds.
I want the government to change the rules / laws to stop public expenditure on this. These are political appointments and should be funded by the political parties that want them NOT the taxpayer...irrespective of which party is in government.
These political appointees are costing many millions of pounds in taxpayers money. It is perfectly legitimate for any government to want to appoint political advisors to help them devise policy and communicate it. However, no government should be allowed to spend our money on this sort of purely party political self serving activity. It should be funded by the parties themselves.
